Yuki Okada, DVM, CVA, PhD, ACVIM (Nutrition) Resident

Dr. Okada completed her BA at UC Berkeley, her DVM at Michigan State University, and her PhD in Veterinary Biochemistry at Nippon Veterinary and Life Science University. She is certified in veterinary acupuncture (CVA). She is currently completing an American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Nutrition) residency that is jointly supported by VNSS and Balance IT®. She has been practicing veterinary medicine in the Bay Area since 2005.

Sean Delaney, DVM, MS, DACVIM (Nutrition)

Dr. Delaney completed his BS at UC Santa Barbara, his DVM at UC Davis, and his MS in Nutrition at UC Davis. He is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (DACVIM (Nutrition)). He currently represents the ACVIM and over 13,000 varied veterinary specialists as the Chair of the 21 member organizations' AVMA Veterinary Specialty Organizations Committee (VSOC). He also sits on the Board of the Mark Morris Institute (MMI) which provides unbiased nutritional education at many leading veterinary schools. He is also a former clinical faculty member at UC Davis, co-editor & co-author of Applied Veterinary Clinical Nutrition (1st Ed. and upcoming 2nd Ed.), former Board Chair of American College of Veterinary Nutrition, and founder of Balance IT®, A DBA of Davis Veterinary Medical Consulting, Inc. Balance IT® is currently used by over 25.000 veterinarians & veterinary nutritionists globally for nutritionally managing their patients. He has been a board certified veterinary nutritionist® since 2003.
